We founded Ubimo over seven years ago with the dream of connecting the offline and online worlds of data. Back then, with the shift to mobile, companies were looking at online behavior to try and understand how audiences were interacting in the real world. We thought it was madness to ignore these new mobile movement signals as they are crucial to understanding not what audiences may be doing, but how they are actually interacting with their surroundings – and that is what we set out to do.
Throughout the years we gathered the most talented team. We developed Realtime DSP, one of the top global in-app mobile DSPs and the Polaris platform which has revolutionized the Out-of-Home industry to allow planning and attribution based on real-world data.
We have been fortunate to be working with the best and most professional clients in the industry with whom we grew together and learned a great deal.
It is with great excitement that we announce today a new chapter in the Ubimo journey: we are becoming part of the Quotient family.
Our company’s vision is to be able to answer any question at the intersection of people’s movement, physical places, and digital data.
While we have enjoyed tremendous success over the years and have launched multiple leading products and offerings, there was one element that kept us wondering: what can we do once we extend our view beyond the front door and into the retail location?
Quotient Technology is a market leader in the Retail, CPG, and Shopper Marketing industries and powers the coupons/promo business of some of the largest retailers in the US such as Dollar General, Giant Eagle, Albertsons, and more. We have worked together with Quotient’s team for the last several years deploying targeted media on behalf of CPG customers and retail partners. During this time and partnership we have brought a variety of impactful and innovative solutions to the market.
In the last few months it became clear to us that joining Quotient will give us the power we need to grow our businesses faster and better than ever before, bringing our vision and execution of data, programmatic, and Out-of-Home solutions to a larger audience.
Quotient will immediately incorporate Ubimo’s Polaris platform into its existing media platform, and layer in Quotient’s exclusive shopper data to meaningfully improve campaign performance for customers.
Ubimo will operate as an independent product group within Quotient’s media business, and focus on expanding our Out-of-Home and DSP solutions. We are certain that our technology, products, and offering combined with Quotient’s data, market share, sales footprint, and credibility will result in business growth beyond what we could have ever imagined.
I have been blessed with working among the most talented and passionate people who have built and developed Ubimo to what it is today. I would like to thank each and every member of our team for the dedication and commitment that led to this milestone.
