Taboola, the leading content discovery platform, today announced its partnership with NDTV Convergence Limited, which manages and operates all the new media initiatives of the NDTV Group. Powered by Taboola, NDTV’s website and mobile properties will now offer personalized and relevant content recommendations to their 40 million unique visitors each month to help develop their audience and generate revenue. NDTV Convergence Limited does in excess of half a billion page views a month across all its digital properties including mobile and will be one of the biggest Indian publishers utilizing Taboola’s technology since the company opened operations in Bangkok last December.

“We are committed to providing our audience with the best possible user experience and that includes recommending valuable content that they will find interesting,” said Suparna Singh, CEO of NDTV Convergence. “We chose Taboola because of their wide array of high-quality content and their commitment to help us grow our audience and keep them engaged without compromising any editorial standards.”

Taboola’s platform serves over 130 billion content recommendations to over 350 million unique visitors every month across the Web and in mobile apps. Their technology uses an algorithm that examines several factors including user behavior, metadata, collaborative filtering, geography, and social media engagement to predict what content a specific user may want to consume next.

“NDTV is one of the most respected news networks in the world, and we’re thrilled about this strategic partnership to connect their sizeable 40 million unique users with content they may like but never knew existed,” said Adam Singolda, founder and CEO of Taboola. “NDTV is clearly invested in high-quality content and our newfound relationship is a testament to our ability to deliver a content discovery tool that benefits both publishers and users.”
