Quectel Integrates Red Bend’s Software Management Solution to Update M2M Modules for the Internet of Things

Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM) with more than 2 billion Red Bend-Enabled™ devices, announced that Quectel Wireless Solutions Co., Ltd., a leading global supplier of cellular modules solutions and services has integrated Red Bend’s over-the-air software management solution in theirUC15 and UC20 series of M2M modules used for the Internet of Things. The first modules to include Red Bend’s software management solution will be available globally in Q2 2014.

Quectel’s modules are used in automotive, energy, wireless payment and various other devices making up the Internet of Things. With Red Bend’s industry leading OTA solution, Quectel’s modules can be updated remotely by Quectel, the network operator or the device manufacturer.
