Santa Clara, Calif. – July 29, 2014 – Kilopass Technology Inc., a leading provider of semiconductor logic embedded non-volatile memory (eNVM) intellectual property (IP), today announced two additions to its board of directors. Michael Noonen, co-founder of Silicon Catalyst and Rodrigo Liang, Sr. Vice President of Oracle start their directorship immediately, bringing the total size of the board to six members.

Mike Noonen joins the Kilopass board with over 25 years of experience of technology product management and sales and marketing organizational leadership. He is the co-founder of Silicon Catalyst, the world’s first semiconductor-focused start-up incubator based in Silicon Valley. Mike is also a director of Adapteva and Ambiq Micro. Previously, Noonen was Executive Vice President, Global Products, Design, Sales, & Marketing at GlobalFoundries. He also served on the Global Semiconductor Alliance Board of Directors. Noonen has held executive roles at NXP Semiconductors, National Semiconductor, Cisco Systems and 8×8. He started his career at NCR Microelectronics. He has a BSEE from Colorado State University and he holds multiple patents in the areas of internet telephony and video communications.
Rodrigo Liang joins the board with 20 years of experience in high tech semiconductors with technical expertise in high performance CPU and embedded software development to Kilopass’ board. He is currently Sr. Vice President for SPARC Processor Design at Oracle. Before Oracle, Rodrigo was a Vice President at Sun Microsystem, where he drove the development of the multi-threaded processors and helped establish SPARC as the leading provider of large scale multi-core, multi-thread enterprise computing. Prior to Sun, Rodrigo held various engineering executive roles at Afara Websystems, inSilicon, and Hewlett Packard. Rodrigo has a MS & BS from Stanford University in electrical engineering.
