Flash Networks has achieved market leadership following its acquisition of Mobixell, previously the number two video optimization vendor. According to the research report, the combined company has grown faster than the market, showing both market dominance and strong growth.

Flash Networks’ Harmony™ Mobile Internet Services Gateway accelerates LTE networks by 50% and reduces web and video traffic data by 30%, while providing operators with in-depth traffic analytics and user insights. In addition, with Harmony, operators can engage with their subscribers by offering an enhanced browsing experience while generating revenues from search, over-the-top content, and targeted advertising.

“Flash Networks is proud to be acknowledged as the market leader in this segment and we see this as a validation of our advanced technology and customer satisfaction,” said Noam Green, Vice President of Marketing at Flash Networks. “As the leaders in the market, we are best positioned to enable mobile operators to provide a differentiating customer experience and manage the explosive growth in mobile data traffic.”

“The data optimization market continues to be an important strategy for mobile operators seeking to manage the exponential data growth. Flash Networks demonstrates growth faster than the market over the observed period, with market shares calculated in terms of country deployment per vendor,” commented Patrick Lopez, CEO of {Core Analysis}, the analyst firm that published the “Mobile Video Monetization and Optimization 2014” report.

The market share calculations are based on number of individual deployments from a proprietary {Core Analysis} database, collecting data such as vendors, resellers, value of the deployment in term of total cost of ownership for the operator, operator name, country, and region. This data is cross-referenced from vendors' and operators' individual disclosures.
