PALO ALTO, Calif. - September 18, 2013 - Check has partnered with Irvine Ranch Water District to provide IRWD customers with the ability to pay and track their bills using their smartphones with Check's mobile app.

Serving more than 350,000 customers throughout Irvine and parts of Tustin, Lake Forest, Newport Beach, Orange, Costa Mesa and some unincorporated areas of Orange County, IRWD has been on a mission to offer technology to its customers. One such advance has been IRWD's decision to deliver Check's mobile bill payment service to its customers. With Check, IRWD customers can pay any bill (including their IRWD water bill) anytime, anywhere and using a wide variety of payment methods. For IRWD bills, bank payments are free, and credit card payments are subject to a $3.25 processing fee per transaction.

"Clearly, Irvine Ranch Water District is innovating and wants to make life easier for its residents," said Steve Schultz, COO, Check. "Offering them technologies, such as Check's mobile app, is a great way to deliver on that promise. Check is excited to partner with companies, such as IRWD, to provide a great mobile bill pay experience to their customers without the cost of building the technology themselves."

Giving customers a complete view into their personal finances, Check's top-rated app makes it simple to make bill payments on the fly from a mobile device. To get started, customers can visit Check's IRWD website or visit Google Play or the iTunes App Store to download the Check app for free.

Unlike bank bill payment services, Check's free mobile app can be used to pay any bill anytime, anywhere and with any payment method. Giving customers a complete view into their personal finances across multiple providers, the top-rated app makes it simple to see balances, view transactions, and make payments on the fly, including same-day payments, from a mobile device
