Merav Weinryb joined Pitango in April 2008, as a Senior Associate, dealing mainly with wireless and communication companies.
Merav also serves as a member of the Advisory Committee to the Telecom Industries at The Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute. |

Prior to joining Pitango, Merav was an Associate VP for Corporate Development and Strategy in Comverse (NASDAQ:CMVT), a leading provider of software and systems enabling network-based communication and billing services.
During her tenure in Comvrese, Merav initiated and participated in M&A activities and defined corporate strategy for new domains. Before joining the Corporate Development team, Merav held several product marketing and business development positions. |
Prior to joining Comverse, Merav held several positions in different companies in Israel and in the Silicon Valley including Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), Emblaze (LSE: BLZ.L) and Chip Express.
Merav holds a B.Sc. in Information Systems (cum laude) from the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
